  • A set of methodology guidelines were creted for the pre-evaluation and evaluation of innovations that are planned to be incorporated in an enterprise. The methodology included steps for qualitative and quantitative evaluation of new technologies and innovative methods in the Food Sector, for forecasting the utility of the application - at a fist phase - and also - at a later phase - for the follow-up /control of the innovation application. The methodology is versatile and can be used for self-evaluation or external evaluation by an auditor or expert. It is an open tool and can be combined with other similar evaluation tools or can be integrated into a Quality Management system (ISO 9001 or similar). However, the said methodology guidelines can benefit from further refining to make them more user-friendly and concise.
